Buckcherry/James Durbin/Redlight King, Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel, 6:30pm, $29.50. Buckcherry is a rock band from Los Angeles; James Durbin is a rock singer/guitarist from Santa Cruz, CA; Redlight King is an alternative rock act from greater Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. 12-W17-2

Thursday 04-26

The Wheel Workers with The Winter Sounds and The Seedy Seeds, Mango’s, 403 Westheimer, 8pm-?, $7, 18+. The Wheel Workers are a local pop/rock act; The Winter Sounds are an indie rock band based in Nashville; The Seedy Seeds are an electro-folk-pop band based in the Cincinnati area. 12-W17-3

Friday 04-27

The Eastern Sea/The Literary Greats/Quiet Company, Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanunel, doors 9pm/show 10pm, $10 (tickets at door). The Eastern Sea is an indie/folk rock act from Austin; The Literary Greats are a local Americana/indie rock band, who just last year released a great album entitled Black Blizzard which I highly recommend; Quiet Company is an indie rock act from Austin. 12-W17-6

Saturday 04-28

Hello Everything, El Rincon Social, 3210 Preston, 7pm-midnight. Group art show/art market featuring paintings, photography, films, jewelry, zines, and other handmade items. Artists: Alex Luster, Michael Luster, David Hardaker, J. Austin Griffith, Darwin Arevalo, 2:12, Jenn Allbritton, Rusty Hebert, Nina Marinick, Jamie Attanasio, Juan Vera, David Adam Salinas, Vincent Di Nguyen, Ack!, Daniel Anguilu, Yamin Cepedes, Gabriel Dieter, Michael C. East Meets West X, Miller Outdoor Theater, 8pm. Dance of Asian America and Mitsi Dancing School present Chinese choreography; Houston Ballet’s Principal Dancers, Ad Deum Dance Company, Houston Ballroom Company, Revolve Dance Company and High School for the Performing and Visual Arts will perform Western dance styles including romantic ballet and contemporary dance. 12-W17-5

Houston International Festival, downtown: City Hall/Tranquility Park/Sam Houston Park, 11am-8pm see Eventbrite web page for ticket prices. Houston’s annual festival of international art, music, and cuisine returns once again. 12-IFEST
